Bio
Melissa Clark is responsible for the overall financial well being of Chicago-based Primera Engineers. She leads all aspects of the corprate accounting and finance functions with a primary focus on strategic planning, budgeting, financial analysis, process improvement, and cash management. She also mentors and leads the team responsible for the day-to-day accounting and finance efforts including invoicing, accounts receivable, and accounts payable.
Melissa’s expertise is the result of more than 20 years in the architecture, engineering, and construction (AEC) industry and 15 years as a Controller. Prior to Primera, she served as Controller for two Milwaukee- based architecture and engineering firms. An advocate in the community, in addition to her service on the Board of Directors for Green City Market, she serves as Treasurer of the Primera Foundation and is a member of the steering committee for the CFO Leadership Council – Chicago Chapter. She is also an active member of Chicago United.
Melissa holds a Bachelor of Arts in Management Accounting and an MBA from Alverno College in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
